Q: WHAT SHOULD I BRING WHEN GOING HORSEBACK RIDING
IN CABO SAN LUCAS?
A: You will want long pants - sounds hot, but they'll protect your
legs from rubbing on the horse and the stirrups. You'll be a lot more
comfortable. Make sure to bring sunblock, you'll need it - the sun in
Cabo San Lucas is very strong. Use at least SPF 30 - preferably even
higher. You'll also want good riding shoes (tennis shoes are fine),
and a hat for sun protection. Don't forget your camera!
Q: I'VE NEVER BEEN HORSEBACK RIDING - CAN I STILL
DO THESE TOURS?
A: Yes. These tours are suitable for beginners, even kids.
We have horses for all skill levels.
Q: IS THERE A WEIGHT LIMIT?
A: Yes - the weight limit for our horseback riding tours is 250 lbs.
or 115kg.
Q: I'M AN EXPERIENCED HORSEBACK RIDER - CAN WE
RUN WITH THE HORSES?
A: Yes, if the guide determines that you have sufficient skill level.
We do have liability to think about, of course - can't have you getting thrown
off while galloping, so the standards for this are higher than you may be
used to at home, but if you qualify you can gallop on the beach.
Q: CAN WE SWIM WITH THE HORSES?
A: No. There are dangerous riptides lurking under the ocean -
while this is a beautiful beach, it is not safe to swim with the horses on
El Medano Beach in Los Cabos.
Q: DO YOU GIVE HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS?
A: Yes. You can call us toll-free at 1-866-348-6286 and we'll
give you all the details.
Q: HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD I ALLOW FOR TRAVEL TO
AND FROM THE RANCH?
A: The ranch is about 20 minutes from the marina in Cabo San Lucas.
