Let’s time-travel 300 years back, and have a look at Baja California’s history. We will take a trip to the historic city of La Paz. Here, we will explore the iconic 18th Century Cathedral and the charming main plaza; where you will have time to shop around tax-free Mexican handicrafts and souvenirs!

We’ll pick you up at your hotel, and we’ll start our journey by visiting two of the most beautiful areas - East Cape and El Triunfo (a turn-of-the-century silver mining town). East Cape is known for being a fast-paced fishing town. Famous for its hotels, cafes, restaurants, private airship and lots of fishing boats. On the other hand; El Triunfo is locally known as a “ghost town!”, don’t worry it doesn’t have to do with paranormal activity, but because of the peaceful vibes coming from its old historic walls and buildings, offering an ideal environment for relaxation or architecture appreciation. Next, we will visit La Paz for a delicious lunch at a nice local restaurant, we will tour the city, visiting the anthropologic museum, 18th-century cathedral and the tax-free shopping area in the main plaza.

On our way back, you will be fascinated by the beautiful scenes of the coastal highway. We will stop at the artsy town of Todos Santos, where we will find the famous and very much real Hotel California! The one that inspired the song by the American band Eagles. We will catch a picture-worthy sunset (during winter months) before leaving for Cabo. We definitely recommend this sightseeing experience!

OUR ADVICE:

This is the best tour to see the entire Baja area. You'll see the great Pacific Coastline of the Baja including Todos Santos and La Paz.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCES

"Yesterday's tour was a pure delight! Luis is a superb guide and driver. He's so knowledgeable and personable. The whole day went perfectly and I can't think of any improvement needed. Perhaps the road from Todos Santos...but nothing else. Please tell Luis thanks again for a great trip to La Paz and Todos Santos!" - Lisa from Elk Grove, California

"Just wanted you to know that we took our trip to La Paz yesterday and it was great. Our guide Mario was on time to pick us up at our condo, in fact he was a bit early.  Before we headed out he took time to explain to our small group of 5 exactly where we would be going, what we would be seeing and where we would stop along the way. We stopped at a little roadside restaurant for a quick snack and I had a delicious empanada, my only regret was I only got one! When we stopped in El Triunfo Mario took time to explain a lot of history about the location as well as La Paz. We spent some time in  La Paz and then we went to a nice local restaurant for lunch and then headed to Todos Santos for a bit to do some sightseeing and shopping. Overall a great experience and can't say enough about Mario!"
